It was another lovely evening in the company of lovely people. We ate banana chocolate-chip muffins and sipped cinnamon spice tea, sang, talked, laughed and wondered at our wonderful world.
Our theme of home and family was a good one. There's so much to talk about with families and our roles in them, and what is a family, and how do we feel about home?
Here's a selection of the songs we sang and listened to:
- Home by Michael Bublé
- Take the Long Way Home by Supertramp
- Our House by Madness
- Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd
- She's Leaving Home by the Beatles
- For the Beauty of the Earth by Brother K
- Father and Son by Cat Stevens and by Johnny Cash
- Loves Me Like a Rock by Paul Simon
- Good Hands by Kylie Morgan
- Rise Again by The Rankin Family
- Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder
This next week, October 17th, we'll have fun with a Food theme! Which is also a big part of Thanksgiving, right?
I hope to see you all there on Thursday!
