Sing-along Café Thursday, November 27th, 2025 and Monday, December 1st, 2025

Well, we are all so busy that only Leslie and I were there on Thursday afternoon, and while the Beatles were playing in the background, we had the lovliest hour of chatting about all kinds of things. We didn't even have a minute to eat some of the chocolate cake with chocolate chips that I had made. We could have talked all day. It was wonderful.

We'll be in December next Thursday, so I will have Winter songs and Christmas songs for us to sing. If we really want, we can throw in a Beatles song or two.

This Monday afternoon, Monday, December 1st, 2025, I'm leading a Christmas Sing-along for the seniors' monthly Monday get-together in the Fellowship Room at Trinity. We gather at 1:45 and start singing at 2:00. I would love any and all of my singing friends to come and sing with us. There will be light refreshments.

Singing Together in July and August

I posted this on my YRCC blog, and I think it applies to my Trinity Singers too. While we’re not singing together in July and August, please find opportunities to sing in other places and with other people. You can always sing in your car and in your kitchen. You can accept all invitations to cottages, camping, and beach days, and do some campfire singing. Or, sing while you paddle around in a lake. Sound carries over water, so have some buddies join you if you’re not comfortable with a solo performance. Orchestrate some backyard sing-alongs if you can. Singing outdoors in the summer is an opportunity you don’t want to miss. I’ve enjoyed the free concerts in Aurora and Newmarket in the past. They have ‘tribute bands’ who perform all the hits you know, and you’ll want to sing and dance along. Every Thursday from 7-8:30 in the Fellowship Room at Trinity on Main in Newmarket. Singing (without microphones, without sheet music, with no pressure or judgement), snacks, conversation, it's an easygoing evening out. And, it's good for your health and well-being.
